It’s hard to believe that less than 100 years ago, kitchen was closed in a basement or at the back of the house and no one but the servants entered it. Today kitchen in many cases plays main role and is considered to be heart and a soul of almost every home. Premises of the modern kitchen have to be highly functional. But that’s not all: in some homes it also has to become living room and dining room from time to time. There are 2 main types of kitchen equipment – integrated and non-integrated. When these styles get mixed, kitchen becomes partly integrated. The preference is given to integrated type, its popularity is fueled but its practicality, since as a result you utilize the maximum of you storage space. Advantage of the non-integrated type (in these days it is mostly done in industrial style and mainly from stainless steel) is that it has high flexibility. Composition is made out of separate cabinets, shelves and other modules, but even here laver and stove stay on its positions. Quite recently a new player has joined – all-in-one module. This invention combines together fridge, cooker cabinet, stove, laver and shelves for storage. Module ideally fits for flats and houses where cooking is not considered to be favorite past time, and space is limited.
