layout of office
Any office can be divided in 3 areas from design project point of view.
1. Work area (for common staff). Set of layouts: planning layout, furniture position layout, layout for the position of electricals.
2. Standard area (areas which requires more detailed planning and study, results of this planning can later be used a base for development of other premises, including work area). Set of layouts: planning layout, furniture position layout, layout for the position of electricals, floor plan, cross sectional view of the walls, furniture selection, selection of covers for floor and ceiling, paints, door, sockets, lightening and other design, décor elements and furniture.
3. V.I.P. area also requires detailed planning including décor – curtains, paintings, pictures, vases and etc. Also includes development of 3D visual model of premises with a high level of details. Usually V.I.P. zone includes higher management offices, meeting rooms, reception, corridors, WC, resting rooms, in other words premises which visitor might be in. Volume of work is the the same as for the standard area with addition of visualization and decoration.
Approach that is mentioned greatly reduces the budget for design project since the planning of work area is many times cheaper that for example V.I.P. area, but by volume it is the biggest area for planning and designing.
